How this calculator works
1. Pick your region
Fees depend on where you sell and which payment processor handles the order, so the region drives everything.
2. Enter the real numbers
Sale price, shipping charged to the buyer, your own shipping cost and what the item cost you.
3. Read what you keep
You get the fee breakdown, your payout, your profit, your margin and the break-even price.
Rules that change the math
- If a sale is refunded, the selling fee, payment processing fee and boosting fee are all reversed.
- Bundle sales: outside the UK/US the selling fee applies per item; the processing fee applies once per bundle transaction.
- Taxes are calculated, collected and remitted by Depop where marketplace facilitator laws apply.
Depop fees — frequently asked questions
- How much does Depop take from a sale in 2026?
- For sellers in the US, UK and Australia there is no Depop selling fee. You only pay payment processing: 3.3% + $0.45 in the US, 2.9% + £0.30 in the UK and 2.6% + A$0.30 in Australia. Sellers outside those regions still pay a 10% selling fee plus PayPal processing.
- Is the Depop fee calculated on shipping as well?
- Payment processing is charged on the item price plus shipping charged to the buyer plus applicable taxes. The 10% selling fee and the boost fee are charged on the item price excluding taxes, plus shipping only if you did not use a Depop Shipping label.
- Do boosted listings cost extra?
- Yes. Boosting is charged only when a boosted item sells: 12% in the US and UK for new listings from 23 March 2026, and 8% in Australia and other regions.
- Are Depop fees refunded if the buyer returns the item?
- Yes. If a sale is refunded, the selling fee, payment processing fee and boosting fee are all reversed automatically for Depop Payments transactions.
- Do I need an email or an account to use this calculator?
- No. The calculator is free, needs no signup and no email address — the numbers update as you type.
